Nesrine Chehata

Nesrine Chehata is a senior lecturer specializing in geospatial and AI for Earth Observation, with a focus on climate change adaptation and local development in Africa. They served as general manager and co-founder of TunisiaDroneDay from 2022 to 2023 and have held several academic positions, including associate professor at various universities and research fellow at IGN, where they continue to work as an Earth Observation expert. Nesrine has contributed significantly to the fields of machine learning, remote sensing, and GIS, and presides over the AGEOS NGO and the National Forum of Climate Change Adaptation in Tunisia (FNACC). They completed their PhD in machine learning and photogrammetry at CNES, alongside a DEA in image processing from Université de Strasbourg.
