Kate Hughes has a strong background in the energy industry, with experience in various roles and companies. Kate started their career at Utility Auditing Ltd in 2007 as an Area Sales Manager, where they worked with regional Chambers of Commerce and engaged their members in energy services. Kate'sresponsibilities included public speaking, targeted phone calls, and closing sales deals. In 2008, they joined Utilyx as an Account Director, where they worked closely with clients to ensure compliance with energy schemes and develop energy consumption strategies. Kate also identified additional commercial opportunities and increased services to existing clients. In 2016, Kate joined Ignite Energy as an Account Director, before being promoted to Head of Client Services in 2018, and later becoming the Director of Supply Services in 2021.
