Manuel (Manny) Velázquez

Manny Velázquez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Manuel (Manny) is currently the Head of Solution Engineering & Architecture at Ignite IPA, where they have been since April 2020. Prior to that, Manny worked at BNY Mellon, starting in 2010. At BNY Mellon, they held various roles including IPA Solutions Architect VP from February 2018 to April 2020, Performance Excellence VP from December 2015 to January 2018, Continuous Process Improvement Strategy Lead from February 2014 to December 2015, Global Operations Business Analyst from May 2012 to February 2014, Global Operations Tax/OFAC Manager from January 2011 to April 2012, and Trade Finance Operations Manager from March 2010 to December 2010. Before joining BNY Mellon, Manny worked at MetLife as an Institutional Business Analyst from August 2004 to March 2010. Manuel (Manny) also has experience as a Trade Specialist at BNY Mellon from November 2000 to August 2004.

Manny Velázquez holds an Associate's degree in Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Blue Prism Developer from Blue Prism in February 2017, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from BNY Mellon in July 2013, and Agile Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in March 2013.
