Avo Reid is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in enterprise technology and innovation, currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Ignite IT since December 2020. In this role, Avo focuses on leveraging advanced technologies to enhance organizational operations and drive continuous value through Agile and DevOps methodologies. Previously, Avo held key positions, including Principal and Chief Technology Officer at Next360, where efforts centered on digital transformations for SaaS companies, and provided consulting services for Grant Thornton in technology modernization for federal portfolios. Avo's career highlights also include a significant tenure as Chief Technology Officer at Bloomberg BNA, where strategic technology leadership was pivotal in building a profitable division, and earlier roles at Sage, culminating in a transformation from startup to a publicly traded company. Avo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med Biology applied Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
