Mathias Gullikstad Backsæther

Mathias Gullikstad Backsæther has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In 2016 they were an Organizer for SpaceUp Norway and a Student Assistant at NTNU. In 2017 they were a Chief Driverless Engineer at Revolve NTNU and in 2019 they were a Co-Founder at OB1 and a Research Assistant at CIRiS - Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Space. In 2020 they were a Research Assistant at SINTEF Community and in 2021 they are a Product Manager, Carbon Accounting Analyst, Data Scientist and Software Engineer at Ignite Procurement.

Mathias Gullikstad Backsæther has a diverse educational background. Mathias Gullikstad attended Bekkestua Lower Secondary School from 2008 to 2011, followed by Nadderud Vgs Upper Secondary School from 2011 to 2014. Mathias Gullikstad then attended Home Guard Officer Candidate School (Heimevernets Befalsskole) from 2014 to 2015, where they earned the degree of Officer Candidate, Sergeant. From 2015 to 2021, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and earned a Master's degree in Nanotechnology. Mathias Gullikstad also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019, where they earned an ASP in Brain and Cognitive sciences - MIT Media Lab.
