Rhys Whiting

Rhys Whiting is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in commercial finance and investment banking. Currently serving as the Commercial Finance Manager at Ignition since May 2022, Rhys is responsible for owning and re-building the company's financial model, including monthly and quarterly reporting. Prior to Ignition, Rhys held senior roles at Equiteq as a Senior Associate, where advisory work on M&A transactions was a key focus, and at The iQ Group Global as a Manager in Corporate Finance, providing strategic advice on corporate restructuring and capital raising. Rhys has also served in various capacities at Miles Advisory Partners and Clare Capital Limited, concentrating on M&A transactions. With a solid educational background, including a Master's in Management Studies from The University of Waikato, Rhys combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial strategies in technology and biotech sectors.
