Didra Felix has a wide range of work experience. Starting in 2016, they were a Research Assistant at the Jonathan Shurin lab, where they looked into interactive effects of temperature and predation in populations response to warming. Didra also worked as a Global Food Initiative Student Ambassador at the University of California San Diego. In 2018, they worked as an Animal Care Intern at the San Diego Zoo Global and as a Duck Caretaker at SHO Farm Sanctuary. In 2019, they were an Environmental Monitoring Assistant at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services and a Field Technician at the San Diego Natural History Museum. In 2020, they were a Laboratory Technician at Sweetwater Authority and a QA Engineer at iGrad. Finally, in 2021, they were a Geographic Information System Intern at CHELA and is currently a Laboratory Analyst I at San Elijo Joint Powers Authority.
Didra Felix earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology Behavioral and Evolutionary Biology from UC San Diego between 2016 and 2018.
