Dinesh Chand Sharma

Dinesh Chand Sharma is the current Advisor at iGrant.io, and was previously the Director of Regulatory Affairs & Industry Relations at Ericsson India Pvt Ltd from April 1997 to December 2012. During their time at Ericsson, Dinesh was responsible for establishing strong credibility and relationships with various ministries, policy makers, regulators, and standardization bodies. Dinesh was actively involved in normalizing government policies, legislations, regulatory framework, guidelines, consultations, and standardization efforts in India and ensured they were favorable to the industry and in compliance with WTO agreements. Dinesh was also responsible for driving industry efforts and ensuring global practices and standards were followed on spectrum harmonization, product standardization, product type approval, validation testing, and other regulatory framework. Dinesh was actively engaged in technology leadership and thought leadership in government projects of national importance such as the National optical Fibre Network, Network for Spectrum, and National Skill Development. Dinesh has represented Ericsson in local and global APEX and sectorial bodies and forums, and has built a network of industry stakeholders to address industry issues and concerns.
