Giorby Acosta Marrero

Giorby Acosta Marrero is an experienced mechanical engineer with a solid background in project development, maintenance, and oversight in various industries. Currently serving as a mechanical engineer at Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus since September 2021, Giorby focuses on the mechanical installation of climate control, exhaust, and ventilation systems for the new cathedral in Brasília, DF. Prior to this role, Giorby worked at Minasmar Energía e Comércio LTDA, managing maintenance for the Brazilian Postal Service's climate systems, and at Mecpro Instalações, where Giorby developed HVAC projects for shopping centers and buildings. Previous positions include mechanical engineering roles at Fox Engenharia Brasilia, where Giorby worked on projects for banking agencies, and at EMPET, specializing in maintenance inspection and planning. Giorby holds a mechanical engineering degree from the Universidade de Brasília and an earlier degree from the Instituto Superior Politênico José Antônio Echeverria.
