Luis Enrique Torres Olvera

Luis Enrique Torres Olvera has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Luis Enrique started their career as an intern at Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C., where they gained experience in civil-commercial litigation and reviewing judicial bulletins. Luis Enrique then worked as an intern at Von Wobeser y Sierra, where they followed up on files in civil and commercial courts and advised clients in various legal matters.

Afterwards, Luis joined PepsiCo as a Junior Lawyer, where they focused on reviewing and drafting contracts, amendment agreements, and rendering service agreements. Luis Enrique also analyzed and applied current legislation. Luis Enrique continued their legal career at Sordo Madaleno, where they worked as a Junior Lawyer for three years. Here, they specialized in drafting contracts, strategic alliances agreements, and applying relevant laws.

In 2015, Luis joined IGSA as a Senior Lawyer and eventually was promoted to the role of Chief Legal Officer in January 2017. At IGSA, they provided legal advice to different areas of the company and analyzed cases to inform about regulatory requirements. Luis Enrique was responsible for drafting and reviewing various legal instruments and agreements, negotiating and reviewing public bids, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
