Laurence Shipman

Laurence Shipman is a seasoned facilities maintenance professional with extensive experience in both military and civilian roles. Currently serving as Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician and former Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at IGT since October 2003, Laurence coordinates maintenance support and manages parts procurement and storage systems. Previous experience includes positions as Traffic Control Specialist at Advanced Warnings Inc, Manufacturing Professional at Michelin, and Kaiser Aluminum, where Laurence operated and maintained advanced manufacturing machinery and equipment. Notably, during a distinguished 20-year career in the US Navy, Laurence held the rank of Chief Petty Officer, supervising submarine systems and maintenance programs. Education includes ongoing studies at Truckee Meadows Community College and a high school diploma from Carson City High School.
