Nicolò Maria Bontempi

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and accessories. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, electronics contractor with the Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities included circuit design and control systems development for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
