Mahar Afroze

Mahar Afroze's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Mahar started their career as a Teacher of Science at Shaheen Education Centre in 2015 and worked there until 2016. Mahar then transitioned into the field of software quality assurance, starting as an IT Intern at Digicon Technologies Ltd from September 2018 to February 2019. Mahar gained experience in both quality assurance and small project development during this internship.

Afroze continued their journey in software quality assurance at Digicon Technologies Ltd, where they worked as a Software Quality Assurance professional from March 2019 to December 2019. Mahar'sresponsibilities included creating and maintaining test documentation, working on both white box and black box testing, and following software QA methodologies and processes.

Mahar then joined Prefeex in December 2019 as an SQA Engineer, where they analyzed user stories, developed and updated test cases, and made documentation related to testing. Mahar worked there until April 2020.

From August 2020 to May 2021, Afroze worked at TripeGate as an SQA Engineer, where they understood clients' requirements, determined testing scope, defined test strategies, and estimated task timelines.

In 2021, Afroze joined iHealthScreen Bangladesh Ltd. and Alex Solutions as a Software Quality Analyst. Mahar'sresponsibilities included understanding software functions and business requirements, planning and estimating testing activities, and performing manual testing for functional and performance testing.

Mahar Afroze's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Uttara High School and College, where they received their SSC degree in Science in 2011. They then went on to Uttara Model College and obtained their HSC degree in Science in 2013. From 2015 to 2018, Mahar Afroze attended the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Mahar Afroze has also obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they completed the JMeter™ Intro course from BlazeMeter University. In April 2020, they completed three courses: Creative Problem Solving from Coursera, How to Get Skilled: Introduction to Individual Skills Management (Project-Centered Course) from Coursera, and Managing the Company of the Future, also from Coursera. In June 2020, they completed the Setting a Foundation for Successful Test Automation course from TestAutomationU. They also completed two courses in July 2020: Software Testing Foundations: Test Management from LinkedIn Learning and API Testing Foundations from LinkedIn Learning. In July 2020, they completed the Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) course from Coursera. In January 2021, Mahar Afroze completed the Codeless Test Automation with Selenium IDE course from TestAutomationU. In April 2021, they completed the Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA course from LinkedIn Learning. Lastly, in August 2021, they obtained a certificate for the QA Global Summit'21 Volume 2 from Geekle.us.
