Gen Kuwata

Gen Kuwata has extensive experience in technology planning and business development at IHI Corporation, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of the Technology Planning Department within the Corporate R&D Division since April 2020. Prior roles include leadership positions such as Head of Planning Promotion Group and General Manager in the Strategic Project Department. Kuwata's previous experience at IHI INC included serving as Senior Vice President in the Business Development Division, and earlier roles at IHI Corporation encompassed managing various engineering and research teams. Gen Kuwata holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tokyo, obtained in 1995.
