Yasushi Hashimoto

Yasushi Hashimoto is a highly experienced professional in the aviation and aerospace sectors, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Technology Development at IHI Corporation since April 2017. Expertise includes leading technology development programs such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and next-generation commercial jet engines, along with significant experience in project management, business development, and collaboration with global aviation original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and governmental entities. Prior to IHI Corporation, Hashimoto held multiple roles at Toray Industries, including positions in sales and marketing of carbon fiber for aerospace applications, demonstrating a strong background in technical sales and supply chain management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from GLOBIS University and advanced degrees in Physics and Aerodynamic Engineering from International Christian University.
