Alex Sturza

Alex Sturza has extensive work experience in various roles related to electrical design and project management. They started their career in 1981 as an R&D Electrical Technician at a National Telecom Company and then transitioned to an Electrical Design and Execution role at Automaker Inc. In 1993, they joined National Oilwell Varco as a Marine and Land Coordinator, where they were responsible for developing marine designs and designing electrical systems for land rigs and offshore drilling units. After that, they worked at Oilfield Electric Marine where they continued to handle electrical design, manufacturing, and testing for dredges, land rigs, and supply vessels. From 1999 to 2005, they worked at Rowan Companies, Inc. as a Dredging, Marine & Oilfield Project Manager, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and testing of various projects. They then joined Loadmaster Engineering as a Project Director, where they were involved in all aspects of rig manufacturing and provided consulting services for a drilling project in China. They later worked at Fluor as a Lead Principal Electrical Designer and then as a Principal Electrical Designer. In 2010, they joined Worley Parsons as a Senior Lead Principal Designer before moving to their current position as a Senior Lead Principle Designer at IHI E&C International Corporation.

Alex Sturza attended the Electro-Mechanical Trade School from 1980 to 1982, where they obtained an Associate degree in Electrical.
