Rex Engle

Rex Engle has extensive work experience in the field of piping engineering. Rex worked as a Senior Principal Piping Engineer at IHI E&C International Corporation, where they led the piping specifications for the Dominion Cove Point LNG Expansion Project. Rex has also been an active member of the ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code Section Committee since 1985, holding various offices including Vice-Chair. Prior to that, they worked for 22 years at Union Carbide Corporation as a Senior Piping Specialist, specializing in valve and piping technology. Rex started their career in pipe stress engineering at Union Carbide in 1979.

Rex Engle attended Herbert Hoover High School in Clendenin, WV, from 1972 to 1975, where they graduated with a diploma. Rex ranked 11th out of 309 students. Following this, they enrolled at West Virginia University Institute of Technology from 1975 to 1979 and obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
