Jared Li has held a variety of roles in the engineering field. In 2016, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the BioMEMS Lab at Georgia Tech. In 2017, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the EPIC Lab at Georgia Tech. In 2018, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rockwell Automation. In 2019, they were a Research Intern at Sandia National Laboratories and a Graduate Student Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they designed and developed a soft exosuit to assist with realistic lifting tasks and is currently evaluating effects on human subjects through biomechanical analysis. Currently, they are a Project Manager and Wearable Robotics Engineer at IHMC.
Jared Li attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jared then returned to the same institution for a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, which they completed in 2020.
