John Paderi

John Paderi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. John is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at IHP Therapeutics since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant in the field of biopharma and healthcare technologies from October 2019.

John Paderi has a strong background in the biotechnology sector, having founded Symic Bio in 2012, where they served as the VP of Operations. John played a critical role in growing the company from two employees to more than 30 and successfully brought two drugs from concept to clinical trials. Their expertise in the field is evident from the development of compounds targeting the extracellular matrix, which have applications in both acute and chronic diseases.

Furthermore, John Paderi has academic experience, starting with their role as a Biodesign Innovation Fellow at Stanford University from July 2012 to September 2013. John Paderi also has a teaching background, having worked as an Instructor at Colegio Bilingüe Madison in Monterrey, Mexico, where they integrated math concepts with chemistry and physics and developed laboratory experiments.
