José Evandro Monteiro

José Evandro Monteiro has a wealth of experience in the legal field, particularly in the areas of corporate law, M&A, real estate, telecommunications, and infrastructure law. José Evandro began their career as an Attorney - Real Estate Manager at OLIPAC Imóveis in 1999 and later moved on to become a Legal Director at American Tower from 2001 to 2012. At American Tower, they gained extensive knowledge in legal matters. José Evandro continued their career at Highline do Brasil, where they served as a Legal Director from 2012 to 2018, handling corporate law practice, commercial agreements, external law firm dealings, litigation, and compliance. In 2018, José co-founded Greenwich Brasil and served as its Legal Director until 2021, overseeing all legal affairs of the company. José Evandro currently holds the position of Legal Director Latam at IHS Towers, starting from October 2021. José Evandro Monteiro has a strong educational background in law. José Evandro completed their Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Paulista in 1998. Following that, they pursued several specializations, including Tax Law and Litigation, at Centro Universitário Metropolitano de São Paulo in 1999-2000. In 2004, they obtained a Specialization in Administrative and Governmental Contracts from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Later, in 2007-2009, they completed an LLM (Master of Laws) in Corporate Law at Ibmec. In 2009, they further extended their studies by completing an LLM Extension in International Corporate and Tax Law from Duke-Geneva Institute Students.
