Brianna Lindsay

Brianna Lindsay has a diverse work experience in the field of epidemiology and research. Brianna currently works as an Epidemiologist and Health Director at the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Prior to this, they were an Epidemiologist and Senior Project Coordinator at the University Of Pennsylvania, where they managed the ClinEpiDB project, an online database of global infectious disease epidemiology data.

Brianna also has experience working at Merck, where they served as an Associate Director in the Pediatric/Adolescent Vaccines department, leading projects in various therapeutic areas with a focus on vaccine research. Brianna has also worked as a Research Analyst at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, contributing to enteric disease research projects and leading international workshops on sequence analysis.

Earlier in their career, Brianna worked as a Research Assistant at Merck, a Technical Writer at ECRI Institute, a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and a Health Center Assistant at the Reproductive Health Center. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in epidemiology, data analysis, project management, and research coordination.

Brianna Lindsay has a strong educational background in the field of molecular epidemiology. Brianna obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular Epidemiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to their doctoral degree, they earned a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Epidemiology from Drexel University, attending from 2007 to 2009. Brianna Lindsay's undergraduate education took place at Ursinus College, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Brianna Lindsay has pursued further certifications. In November 2020, they obtained certifications in "Good Clinical Practice and ICH" and "Group 1.Biomedical Research Investigators and Key Personnel." These certifications were obtained from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY.
