Babajide Kadri is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in TB and HIV/AIDS management. Currently serving as the State Team Lead for the USAID TB LON3 Project at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria since August 2020, Babajide provides technical support and leadership for TB program implementation. Prior to this, Babajide held roles at Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative, where responsibilities included Senior Technical Officer for Clinical Services and Technical Officer for Prevention Care and Treatment, focusing on HIV/AIDS and TB treatment and stakeholder engagement. Babajide also worked as an ART Clinician at AIDS Healthcare Foundation, providing clinical management and oversight for HIV prevention and treatment programs. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Medical Officer at General Hospital Gbajimba and a House Officer at University College Hospital, Ibadan. Babajide holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree in Public Health from Obafemi Awolowo University.

The Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN) was established in 2004 as a local organization to address the HIV/AIDS crisis in Nigeria through the development of infrastructure for treatment, care, prevention and support for people living with and those affected with HIV/AIDS but has not now expanded its services to other infectious diseases of AIDS, TB and malaria including cancers. IHVN is structured to develop and maintain linkages with local and international organizations in collaborative ways that support the Government of Nigeria's health sector strategic plans. IHVN key technical and funding partners are the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
