Aravanan Gurusami

Aravanan Gurusami has a strong and extensive work experience in various positions. Aravanan started their career at Bharat Electronics as a Senior Engineer in 1979 and worked there until 1984. Aravanan then joined Philips Electronics - Broadband Networks Division as a Senior Manager in 1985 and stayed with the company until 1997. Aravanan then worked at ADC Broadband Communications as the Director of Engineering from 1997 to 2001. Aravanan then joined Corning Incorporated as a Business Technology Manager from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they joined Oclaro as the Sr. Director of Engineering from 2004 to 2013. Aravanan then transitioned to II-VI Incorporated where they held the position of Director / Chief Engineer from 2013 to 2021. Currently, they are working at II-VI Aerospace & Defense as the Vice President of Platform Engineering since September 2021.
