Chris Yarbrough

Chris Yarbrough has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Chris started their career in 1997 as an entry-level Optical Design Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems. From there, they joined LightWorks Optics in 2002 as an Optical Engineer, primarily focusing on metrology, assembly, test, and performance diagnostics. In 2004, they moved to Rockwell Collins Optronics, where they quickly advanced to become a Principal Program Manager. In 2011, they returned to LightWorks Optics as the Director of Program Management, working on cultivating growth and supporting the transition plan for the company's founders. In 2013, they became the Director of Program Management at Exotic Electro-Optics, a subsidiary of II-VI Inc., after they acquired LightWorks Optics. Over the years, they also held positions such as Principal Program Manager, Design Engineering Manager, and Director of OMA Engineering at II-VI Aerospace & Defense, where they are currently employed.
