Derek Rollins

Derek Rollins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Derek began their career at O & S Research, Inc as a Process Engineer from September 2002 to September 2004. Derek then joined Max Levy Autograph, Inc as an Engineering Manager from September 2004 to April 2015. During this time, they managed various engineering projects and contributed to the development of new products. Since July 2015, Derek has been working at II-VI Aerospace & Defense, Inc, where they held several positions. Derek started as an Engineering Manager, where they implemented technology expansions and obtained patents for manufacturing techniques. Derek gradually progressed to the role of Site and Product Line Director, Philadelphia, where they oversaw product marketing, forecasting, and profit and loss. Currently, Derek holds the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives at II-VI Aerospace & Defense, where they recommend key policy decisions and strategic plans to acquire new business capabilities.

Derek Rollins attended the University of Rochester from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Derek also completed a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university, although the specific dates are unknown.
