Ishrat Hakim

Ishrat Hakim joined II-VI as the Chief Sales Officer in July 2019. Previously, Mr. Hakim was the Senior Vice President Global Sales for Osram Opto Semiconductors GmbH, based out of Regensburg, Germany. Additionally, he also served as the President and CEO of the U.S. subsidiary overseeing all functions in North America. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hakim has served in various executive positions in companies like Avago (now Broadcom), Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor, Sun Microsystems, and Unisys Corporation, building and leading regional and global sales organizations in the semiconductor, software, and systems industries. Mr. Hakim holds a BSEE in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University in India and has attended the Executive Management Program at Stanford University, California.
