Marianne E. Weiss, IIDA, LEED AP, is a Principal and Director of Design at HOK since May 2023, where responsibility includes establishing a growing Interior Design Practice in Boston. Concurrently, Marianne serves as Co-Chair of the Workplace Innovation Committee for IIDA New England, focusing on workplace culture, design innovation, and DE+I initiatives. As a founding member of Chief, Marianne supports women's advancement into leadership roles. Previous experience includes Design Principal at Unispace, where contributions involved elevating the Boston Studio profile and mentoring emerging designers; Design Director at Gensler, overseeing a diverse portfolio; and Senior Interior Designer at Elkus Manfredi Architects, leading teams in creating signature environments. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from Colgate University.
