Marco Wagener

Marco Wagener has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marco co-founded iiDENTIFii in 2017 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. iiDENTIFii is a market leader in remote biometric authentication, with a focus on preventing identity theft globally. Marco's role involved developing and implementing user-friendly and frictionless remote biometric identity authentication processes that meet global standards. Prior to iiDENTIFii, Marco founded Backslash Solutions in 2013 and MyFin.World in 2017, where they played key roles as a founder and co-founder respectively.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Marco worked at Sanlam as a Consultant from 2016 to 2017 and as a Technical Lead from 2010 to 2016. Marco has also worked as a Web Developer at FACE Technologies from 2008 to 2010. Marco Wagener completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
