Anjana Karumathil

Anjana Karumathil is an Associate Professor of Practice at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, since August 2022. With a diverse background in learning and development, Anjana served as a Learning and Development Specialist at NAKILAT in 2015, where support was provided to establish a learning function for the world's largest owner of LNG ships. Prior to that role, Anjana was a Learning and Development Manager at Deloitte from 2010 to 2014, overseeing learning initiatives for 1,300 risk advisory professionals and collaborating with the Chief Learning Officer on strategic planning. Anjana also contributed to corporate strategy as a Manager at Deloitte, providing insights for high-impact projects, and worked as a Project Delivery Manager at Tata Consultancy Services from 2000 to 2009, leading engineering teams and managing significant budgets. Anjana holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior Studies from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
