Winston Nara

Winston Nara has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Winston started their career as a Resident Physician at Omdurman Teaching Hospital in 1993. Winston then worked as a Resident Physician at Mount Sinai Health System from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University at Buffalo from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants as a Medical Doctor, specializing in pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine. Winston served in various roles within the company, including Medical Director and Medical Director of pulmonary services. In 2018, they also had a leadership position in the Army National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel and Brigade Surgeon. Additionally, they have been involved in entrepreneurship as a Business Owner of Megabrick LLC and Zindyxx LLC since 2019. Winston has also contributed to the nonprofit sector, working with Indiana Sudans Christian Church. Overall, their work experience spans from 1993 to the present, showcasing their expertise and dedication in the medical field.

Winston Nara's education history is as follows:

Winston Nara obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Khartoum in 1993. In 1998, they completed a Fifth Pathway/Internship program in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies at New York Medical College.

In 2021, Winston Nara pursued further education and earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from DeVry University. During the same period, they also enrolled in the Kelley School of Business Indianapolis, where they pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on the Business of Medicine. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.

Furthermore, in 2021, Winston Nara attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and completed the MIT Xpro program in Technology Innovation and Acceleration in Business, which lasted until 2022.

In addition to their academic degrees, Winston Nara has obtained various certifications. Winston achieved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in February 2023. In September 2022, they completed the Technology and Innovation Acceleration Program offered by Emeritus. Furthermore, they have received board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Internal Medicine - Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, with the latest certification obtained in October 2020.
