Hiring has worked as a frontend developer at IIMMPACT since December 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a program facilitator at Guardian News & Media from July to December 2014. They also worked as a data analyst at RMIT University from February 2014 to June 2017.

Invited as a speaker, workshop facilitator, and for contract jobs ranging from SMEs to large corporate industry, Hiring has presented their work on data analytics for various organizations such as Ben Connell Eye Surgery, HockingStuart, Adidas, Macleay College, The Reject Shop, Fmayers, Coles, HannanPrint, Holden, RMIT University, and Melbourne High School.

Hiring has a Bachelor of Computer Science from RMIT University and certifications from St John Ambulance in HLTAID001 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, HLTAID002 - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid, HLTAID006 - Provide Advanced First Aid, HLTAID007 - Provide Advanced Resuscitation, HLTAID008 - Manage First Aid Services And Resources, and HLTSS00027 - Occupational First Aid. They also have a certification in Lean Process & Six Sigma Course.
