Purandas Mudavath

Purandas Mudavath has extensive experience in the field of chemical engineering, particularly in the design and development of advanced materials for energy storage applications. At IISER Bhopal from May 2022 to October 2023, Purandas served as Project Associate-I, focusing on the development of cathode materials for NASICON-type sodium-ion batteries, as well as Project Associate-II, where research involved capillary suspension systems. Prior experience includes internships dedicated to the synthesis and characterization of NASICON-type cathode materials and Prussian Blue Analogues for sodium-ion batteries. Purandas holds a BS-MS Dual Degree in Chemical Engineering from IISER Bhopal, with a Master of Science emphasizing vanadium-based cathodes for rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries.
