Frederik Schreurs

Frederik Schreurs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the agriculture sector, particularly in business incubation and horticultural management. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Business Incubation Platform at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) since 2015, Schreurs also holds the position of Director of New Business Worldwide at ASTEC Global since 2007, focusing on new geographical markets and products, alongside being a board member. Prior to this, Schreurs served as Horticultural Director Worldwide and board member at Germains Technology Group from 1995 to 2007, where responsibilities included managing horticultural seed technology products and the European sales team. Earlier career experience includes a role as Production Manager at Koninklijke van Zanten, overseeing production in Italy. Schreurs holds a degree in Tropical Agriculture from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and further education from Antioch University Santa Barbara.
