Amit Sethi

Amit Sethi is a Professor and Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, since July 2017. Sethi has held advisory roles at iKITES and KiplineSecure.AI since July 2024 and serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago since April 2014. Previously, Sethi was an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from February 2011 to January 2017, focusing on machine learning, computer vision, and cognitive psychology. Prior consulting experience includes work as a Consultant and Associate Consultant at ZS Associates, where responsibilities spanned various industries. Sethi began an academic career as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, following a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master's in General Engineering from the same university, complemented by a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
