Dr. Velagapudi Sai Praveen

Dr. Velagapudi Sai Praveen serves as the Head of Chassis Design & Architecture at TVS Motor Company, overseeing vehicle architecture and chassis design for both EV and ICE platforms with a team of 45 engineers since May 2011. Previously directed vehicle dynamics, ergonomics, and CAE testing, leading teams of varying sizes at the same organization. In addition to industry roles, Dr. Praveen is a visiting lecturer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, contributing to the MDes program by developing course content on vehicle ergonomics. Previous experience includes a managerial position in vehicle integration at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited and an early role in R&D at TVS Motor Company. Dr. Praveen holds a PhD from IIT Bombay and multiple Bachelor of Technology degrees in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras.
