Nabajit Deka

Nabajit Deka is a Doctoral Researcher at Monash University since July 2020, focusing on Design Thinking for Social Innovation under the mentorship of Prof. Sugandh Malhotra from IIT Bombay. Concurrently, Nabajit serves as a Sessional Teaching Associate for the module ADA5111 - Design Thinking for Business. At the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Nabajit is also engaged as a Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor at Nirma University and Royal Global University, where core courses encompassed Geometry, Design History, and Architectural courses. Nabajit has conducted internships in design and architecture, held positions at Mind's Eye Designs and Kishore Sharma Architects, and participated in an international exchange program in Germany. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Design from IIT Bombay, a Master’s degree in Design and Visual Communications from CEPT University, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Jamia Millia Islamia.
