Ravi B.

Ravi B. currently serves as the Director at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka since June 2023, and holds a faculty position in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay since July 1992. Ravi B. is also the Institute Chair Professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management, IIT Hyderabad, and an Honorary Adjunct Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies. Prior to these roles, Ravi B. was the Principal Investigator at BETiC, IIT Bombay, where the focus was on advancing indigenous medical device innovation. Additionally, from July 2019 to July 2022, Ravi B. was Associate Faculty and Former Head at the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship within the institute. Academic qualifications include a PhD and a Master of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
