Soham Mujumdar

Soham Mujumdar is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with prior experience as an Assistant Professor at the same institution and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2010 to June 2018. Soham has a strong research background in multi-physics modeling, specifically in plasma discharge and material removal in micro electrical-discharge machining, and has contributed to the development of innovative research methodologies using MATLAB and COMSOL. Soham's earlier roles include an Executive Trainee position at NMDC Limited and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Soham holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BTech in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
