Virendra Singh

Virendra Singh is a Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with a research focus on cyber security, cyber physical systems, computer architecture, formal methods, VLSI testing and verification, and blockchain technology. In addition to the role at IIT Bombay, Virendra Singh serves as an Adjunct Professor at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University since August 2020. Previously, Virendra held faculty positions at the Indian Institute of Science (2007-2011) and Banasthali University (1996-1997), and worked as a Scientist at the Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (1997-2007), specializing in VLSI design verification, fault tolerant computing, and embedded systems. Virendra Singh earned a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology and holds both master's and bachelor's degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.
