Robert Kraybill has extensive work experience in the financial and impact investment sector. Robert currently serves as the Managing Director, Portfolio Management, and Chief Investment Officer at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX), where they lead a team focused on building "social capital markets" in Asia. Robert has played a crucial role in developing various impactful financial products and innovative programs at IIX.
In addition to their role at IIX, Kraybill serves on the Board of Directors for āluān and ME SOLshare, contributing their expertise and guidance to these organizations. Robert was also the CEO of the IIX Growth Fund, a $25m fund that makes direct equity investments in Impact Enterprises addressing climate change and focusing on promoting inclusive growth in underserved frontier-market countries.
Prior to their work at IIX, Kraybill held positions such as Senior Advisor and Member of the Board at Asian Tiger Capital, Adjunct Professor at Singapore Management University, and Managing Director at Marathon Asset Management, LLC, where they oversaw private investment activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier in their career, Kraybill held various leadership roles at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Wasserstein Perella, specializing in investment banking, M&A, and acquisition financing in the TMT sector.

Robert Kraybill holds a J.D. degree in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they studied Law at Georgetown University Law Center from 1992 to 1993. Robert also has a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) degree in Philosophy from Princeton University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Robert is also recognized as a retired member of the NY Bar.

Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) bridges the gap between finance and development. IIX is a core member of the International Capital Markets Association, a strategic member of IMP Impact Measurement and Management Practice, and a part of the BAPPENAS Advisory Committee on Blue Finance.
