Aalia Garrett

Aalia Garrett is an emerging professional in the field of human rights and international relations, currently serving as an intern with the Human Rights Measurement Initiative and the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti. Aalia's experience includes work as an intern at the Guatemala Human Rights Commission USA, where responsibilities involved translating publications and conducting research on political asylum cases, as well as serving as an undergraduate researcher at GLOBIS Human Rights Research Lab. Previous roles involved coordinating projects related to climate action, voter mobilization, and educational tutoring. Aalia holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from The University of Georgia and studied at the University of Oxford.
