The Legal Team at the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) is dedicated to advocating for the human rights of Haitians through strategic legal representation and litigation. They work on high-impact cases, such as the cholera class action against the UN and the prosecution of human rights abuses, while also training and supporting new social justice lawyers. By combining legal expertise with grassroots organizing and public advocacy, the team seeks to address systemic injustices and empower communities in Haiti and beyond.
