Debadri Gupta

Debadri Gupta serves as the Head of Engineering for Data Platforms at IKEA since March 2021, spearheading the development of a self-serve Data Platform that supports Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts through FAIR and Data Mesh principles. Previously, as Head of Engineering for API and Integration Platforms, Debadri managed a team of over 60 Software Engineers and led the scaling of critical multi-cloud platforms that significantly boosted traffic and reduced costs. Earlier roles at IBM included Managing Cloud Architect and Consulting Manager, where Debadri designed hybrid cloud solutions and led technical initiatives. Previous experience also includes positions in Integration and Advisory Consulting, as well as technical roles at Cognizant and Adaptavant Technology Solutions, focusing on Service Oriented Architecture and Java development. Debadri holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.
