Frank Schümann

Frank Schümann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and digital services within the aviation industry. Currently serving as the Data Management Leader at IKEA since April 2022, Frank previously held various positions at Star Alliance from May 2002 to April 2022, including Manager of Digital Services, where significant projects included the integration of biometrics into the Star Alliance app and the oversight of both the global website and mobile app. Frank's career also features key roles at Deutsche Lufthansa AG as Manager of IT Strategy, where the focus was on establishing an intranet infrastructure, and at Lufthansa Cargo as General Manager of Yield Management. Education was obtained from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in 1991.
