George Liakeas holds an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Panepistimion Patron, obtained in 1999. With a diverse background in facilities management and construction engineering, George has worked for several companies, including Marks and Spencer as a Technical Consultant, RODAX and I. KLOUKINAS - I. LAPPAS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY as a Construction Engineer, and McArthurGlen Group, where George served as Facilities Manager. Notably, George was also Deputy Facilities Manager and Facilities Manager at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center from 2017 to 2022. In 2023, George took on the role of Head of Property and Facility Services at Alpha Astika Akinita and is currently serving as Facilities & Expansion Manager for IKEA in Greece, Bulgaria, and Cyprus since June 2024.
