Julia Olofsson

Julia Olofsson serves as the Global Director of Human Rights and Social Impact at IKEA, leading strategic initiatives to achieve the company's 2030 People Planet Positive ambitions. Previously, Julia held roles such as Head of Human and Child Rights at Ingka Group, where a commitment to implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights was established. Julia's experience includes serving as Co-Chair of the Global Future Council on Human Rights at the World Economic Forum and as Senior Child Rights and Business Officer at UNICEF Sweden. With a background in sustainability policy and project leadership at IKEA, as well as coaching experience at a top swim club in Sweden, Julia Olofsson combines a strong educational foundation in International Relations and International Security with extensive expertise in human and children’s rights advocacy.
