Leyre Azcona Munarriz

Leyre Azcona Munarriz is an accomplished financial services professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Global Head of New Business and formerly as the Global Head of Consumer Finance at IKEA since May 2016, Leyre has a strong background in consultancy and data management from positions at Danske Bank and Ikano Bank, respectively. Prior experience includes significant roles at Saxo Bank, where Leyre led institutional business in Latin America and managed accounts, and earlier at Bankoa Crédit Agricole. Leyre holds a Master’s degree in Business & Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Deusto University, an ERASMUS degree in EU Law & Business from Lund University, and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of the Basque Country.
