Marielle Spits

Marielle Spits has extensive experience in human resources management, primarily at IKEA since September 2005, where currently serves as the People and Culture Manager. In this role, Marielle is responsible for the Compensation & Benefits strategy for IKEA in the Netherlands and manages the HR Centre of Expertise. Previous positions at IKEA include Compensation and Benefits Manager, Retail Manager Assistant, and several roles as Human Resources Project Specialist and Business Partner, contributing to projects such as multichannel transformation, HR Management system implementation, and organizational restructuring. Prior to joining IKEA, Marielle worked as a Consultant at Randstad and as an Account Manager at LU General Biscuits Nederland. Marielle holds a degree from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and attended Augustinus College.
