Romain Vermunt

Romain Vermunt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Romain started their career as an intern at INRIA in 2007. Romain then worked as a software engineer at various companies, including Airbus and ikeGPS. At Airbus, they worked as a System Integration And Test Engineer, Simulation modelling engineer, and Java Technical leader, among other roles. Romain also served as a Planisware technical leader - Scrum Master, where they worked on the specification, design, development, and deployment of new applications. Currently, Romain is the Engineering Lead at ikeGPS, responsible for managing an Agile team and working closely with the Product Manager to establish the product vision and development priorities. Romain has strong skills in web development, android development, hardware production, electronic design, and mechanical engineering.

Romain Vermunt completed their education with a Master 2 (M2) degree in Génie Logiciel, logiciels Repartis et Embarqués from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master 1 degree in Informatique from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 in 2011. Romain also completed a Licence degree in Informatique from the same university between 2007 and 2010. Before their university studies, Romain Vermunt attended classe préparatoire at Lycée Poincaré.
