Nomasonto Cele has been working in the customer service industry since 2004. Nomasonto began their career at Bizworks as a Contact Centre Agent, where they offered actionable solutions for customer concerns by following internal database prompts and company scripts, partnered with numerous customers to handle caller needs, and delivered accurate organizational information. In 2005, Cele began working at eThekwini Municipality as a Call Centre Agent, where they received and evaluated incoming emergency and administrative phone calls for emergency services, recorded and maintained all radio transmissions and telephone calls, and gained deeper understanding of emergency situations by asking targeted questions. Later that year, Cele began working at Cell C as a Walk-In Centre Consultant and Call Centre Agent. In 2021, Cele began working at Ikeja as a Customer Engagement Consultant.

Nomasonto Cele completed a Diploma in Business Administration at Damelin in 1998. Prior to that, they attended Nqabakazulu Comprehensive High from 1993 to 1996. Nomasonto also holds a Diploma in Business Administration certification.
